Mark is currently an active life member as a Lieutenant / Firefighter EMT-B with Blacksburg Fire Department. Mark joined the department in June of 1996 and has held a Lieutenant position on and off since 1998. Mark is also a Special member with Blacksburg Rescue Squad as an EMT-B. When Mark is not on duty with Fire / Rescue, he is employed with the Town of Blacksburg as a Communications Officer with the Blacksburg Police Department. Mark has held the office of Assistant Secretary since it was established in June of 2009.
