President's Message

I would like to start off by saying thank you to all the members of the association who attended the 65th annual convention and for being a part of this organization. We have grown tremendously over the past years and will only continue to do so with all the members support.

I personally want to thank Jeremy Williams and the Christiansburg Fire Department for all of their hard work to make this year’s convention such a great success.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Life Member Awards, Joe Kingrea of Elliston and Mike Moles of Riner. The Above and Beyond recipients this year were Steve Hall of Riner and Roy Redd of Christiansburg; these two men have shown us all what being a firefighter is all about and they have shown us with their hard work, unfailing dedication and the utmost loyalty to their departments and to this association. To all the members who make up the committees of our association thank you for your hard work and dedication without you none of this would be possible.

This is truly a Family in which I am honored to be a part of and I look forward to serving as your president this year and seeing everyone next year at the 66th annual convention in Roanoke. Please feel free to contact me and I look forward to working with all of you this upcoming year.
